Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

This policy explains what information Comikoo collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect what is needed to run an account-based creative tool, we don’t sell your data, and you can delete everything yourself.

1. What we collect

  • Account data — your email address, password (stored as a hash by our auth provider), and optional profile details such as a display name and avatar.
  • Your content — the scripts, characters, story assets, comics, images you upload as references, and artwork generated for you. This is the product; it is stored so you can come back to it.
  • Purchase records — a ledger of credit grants and spends, and the payment reference from Razorpay for each purchase. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — those go directly to Razorpay.
  • Technical basics — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Cookies are used only to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preference.

2. How your content is processed

When you ask Comikoo to write a script or generate artwork, the relevant text and reference images are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to produce the output you requested. Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. Data and files are stored with Supabase (hosted on AWS, us-east-1), and the application runs on Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service — we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

3. How long we keep it

Your account data and content are kept until you delete them. You can delete individual comics, characters, and assets at any time, or delete your entire account from your account page, which removes your account data and content from the live database. Purchase records may be retained where required for accounting and tax law.

4. Your choices and rights

  • View and update your profile, email, and password from the account page.
  • Delete your content or your whole account yourself — no support ticket needed.
  • Email abhikiki@gmail.com to ask what data we hold about you or to request a correction or deletion you cannot perform yourself.

5. Children

Comikoo is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

6. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.

7. Contact
