Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Comikoo (“Comikoo”, “we”, “us”), an AI-assisted comic creation platform operated from India. By creating an account or using Comikoo you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Comikoo lets you write comic scripts, design characters and other story assets, and generate comic artwork using AI models. Some features are free; generating artwork consumes prepaid credits (see “Credits & purchases” below). We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.

2. Your account

You need an account to save your work. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address. You can delete your account at any time from your account page; deletion removes your account and its content.

3. Credits & purchases

  • Credits are a prepaid, in-app balance used to generate artwork. New accounts receive a free starting balance.
  • Credits never expire, but they have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money except as described in our Refund Policy.
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases processed by Razorpay. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR); a US-dollar figure may be shown for reference. If you pay with a non-Indian card, your bank converts the INR charge to your currency at its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee.
  • If a generation fails, the credits it reserved are refunded to your balance automatically.
  • Current per-feature credit prices are shown on the credits page and may change; changes never affect credits you already hold.

4. Your content and AI-generated output

  • You keep ownership of the scripts, characters, and other material you create or upload, and — to the extent permitted by applicable law — of the artwork generated from them. You are free to export, publish, and commercialise your comics.
  • You are responsible for the content you create with Comikoo, including making sure your prompts and uploads do not infringe someone else’s rights (for example, uploading a photo you have no right to use).
  • AI output can be inaccurate or similar to other AI output; we do not guarantee that generated artwork is unique or fit for a particular purpose.
  • We do not claim rights over your content beyond the limited licence needed to store, process, and display it to you and to operate the service (including sending your prompts to our AI providers to generate your requested output).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Comikoo to:

  • create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or sexually exploitative, or that harasses or deceives others;
  • attempt to breach, probe, or overload the service, or access another user’s data;
  • resell or provide automated third-party access to the generation features;
  • use bots, scripts, or multiple accounts to farm free credits or evade usage limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice. Accounts terminated for abuse forfeit any remaining credit balance, which is not refundable.

6. Availability and changes

Comikoo is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update these Terms; if we make material changes we will indicate the new effective date on this page, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comikoo’s total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
