Inky, the script genie

What Inky does

Open Inky from the Script view’s header. Ask in plain language and it performs the edit — it doesn’t just suggest:

  • “Write me a story about a lighthouse keeper” — drafts the whole script from scratch.
  • “Tighten the dialogue on page 1” — rewrites the panels in place.
  • “Add a plot twist before the ending” — adds or edits pages and panels.
  • “Add Rook to this comic” — manages your cast (assets must exist in your library first).
  • “What happens in the previous comic in this series?” — reads earlier issues.
  • “What are the steps to finish this comic?” — explains the studio itself.

It asks before it guesses

When the answer is a choice from a short list, Inky shows you the options as buttons rather than making you type — that’s how the opening questions on a blank comic work, and how it checks anything ambiguous later.

It also won’t write a trademarked character (Spider-Man, Pikachu) or a real person into your script. An image generator refuses those outright, so Inky offers an original character in the same role instead — and after writing a script it checks every panel against the image generator’s rules and tells you which ones might be refused, while it’s still free to fix.

Safe to experiment

Every editing turn shows exactly what changed and carries an Undo these changes button. Inky never deletes anything unless you clearly ask, and asks before any deletion it does perform.

It costs nothing to talk

Chatting with Inky never spends credits — credits are only for generating. The suggested prompts adapt to your comic’s state, and your last ten prompts are remembered for one-tap reuse.
